Goals

• Raise funds to support human rights in Palestine
• Sell Kufiyas from Palestine in Australia and neighbouring countries
• Raise awareness of human rights for Palestinians

Supporting

Kufiyas Australia is a fully volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation. The sale of kufiyas helps keep the factory in business employing local Palestinians, as well as supporting Palestinian human rights.

All proceeds go to support projects in Gaza and the West Bank through UNRWA – United Nations Relief and Works Agency;  APHEDA – the Australian trade union aid and development organisation; Olive Kids – supporting children in Gaza; Medical Aid for Palestine – providing health services to Palestinians; Defense of Children Palestine – promoting the rights of Palestinian children;  Palestinian Red Crescent Society – the Palestinian Red Cross, Palestinian, Australian, New Zealand Medical Association – providing emergency medical responses in Palestine; PARA – supporting newly arrived Palestinian refugees; Human Rights Defenders Al-Khalil – exposing human rights abuses in Al-Khalil (Hebron); Amos Trust – British NGO working in Gaza; as well as to local Australian Palestinian solidarity organisations such as the Australian Palestine Advocacy Network (APAN).

So far we have raised and donated more than $180,000 to these, and similar, organisations.
