Goals

• Raise funds to support human rights in Palestine
• Sell Kufiyas from Palestine in Australia and neighbouring countries
• Raise awareness of human rights for Palestinians

Supporting

Kufiyas Australia is a fully volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation. The sale of kufiyas helps keep the factory in business employing local Palestinians, as well as supporting Palestinian human rights.

All proceeds go to support projects in Gaza and the West Bank through APHEDA – the Australian trade union aid and development organisation; Olive Kids – supporting children in Gaza; Defense of Children Palestine – promoting the rights of Palestinian children, Medical Aid for Palestine – providing health services to Palestinians, Palestinian, Australian, New Zealand Medical Association providing emergency medical responses in Palestine, Human Rights Defenders Al-Khalil – exposing human rights abuses in Al-Khalil (Hebron) as well as to local Australian Palestinian solidarity organisations such as the Australian Palestine Advocacy Network (APAN).

So far we have raised and donated $65,000 to these, and similar, organisations.
