The design of this Kufiya is inspired by the city of Yafa (Jaffa) located at the Mediterranean Sea. The name Yafa means beauty in Canaanite and the charm of the city makes you fall in love with it immediately – exactly like this Kufiya. The deep blue zig-zag pattern on a black background represents the gentle waves of the sea during the warm summer nights of Yafa.
“Amal” means hope. Amal is also the name of one customer who suggested this combination of colours. We have tried it out and found it expressive and popular.
